[ANNOUNCEMENT] Open Auditions for Cleaner/Typesetter

**Update ~ 08/13/11**

Hello all,

First of all, I would like to thank all of you who have applied for the Cleaner/Typersetter positions. I would also like to announce that the auditions are now officially closed. For those of you who have applied and have yet to turn in your eval packs, please be sure to send your eval packs back to Aizome Scans by the deadline stated in the pack. If you do not meet your deadline or fail to communicate to the team why you cannot meet your deadline, your application will automatically be removed from the running by default.

Thank you all again for your participation,

Yuzuyaro and the team

-------------------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone,

This is Yuzuyaro. Recently, I have noticed that some of our readers have voiced a desire to help out with our projects. The team and I would like to announce that we are holding an open audition for a cleaner/typesetter. We may actually create a small 1-3 person team of cleaners/typesetters, but that all depends on how many people apply and how the process goes.

For anyone interested, please email the Aizome team at Aizome.scans.info@gmail.com.

We are looking to take a maximum of 10 to 15 applications. Once we have received an email from you, we will email you a link to our cleaner/typesetter eval pack. Please, complete the eval pack per the instructions included and return the completed files in zip format to our team email.

The time frame for completing this eval pack is exactly 7 days from your having received the pack.

We look forward to seeing your skills,

Yuzuyaro

[COMPLETED RELEASE] MGX (Mysterious Girlfriend X) -- Ch.58

Hello Everyone,

Aizome Scans presents Mysterious Girlfriend X Chapter 58. The team members currently working at Aizome were the same members that brought you the original scanlated release of chapter 58. In order to keep continuity for future releases of this series, the team has decided to release this chapter here.
We have worked together to re-touch the translation, SFX denotations, and scans themselves. We are in the process of working on new techniques and methods to bring you a more enjoyable reading experience.

We hope you enjoy the chapter and look forward to bringing you more in the future.

Thank you,

Yuzu and the team

[ADMIN] How tags work on this blog.

  • 2011-08-01 MON, 9:01 AM PST
No new data, just renaming tags and inserting meta-labels.

~~~
  • 2011-08-01 MON, some god-awful early hour of the day, PST.
UPDATE: Okay, Yuzu and I have worked out new rules on tag usage. This should clear things up.
[ANNOUNCEMENT] Should be self-evident. Also includes news about stuff that is not admin related.
[ADMIN] A post that conveys information of an administrative nature about the blog/irc/mediafire account, as all are forms of communication/disseminating data.
[PENDING] When a release is still "in the works", hence pending more action by the members (e.g., QC, translate, distro).
[COMPLETED RELEASE] When a release is... well, completed. Don't know how much more I can say about that.
[RANT] Oh, you guys are gonna love this one.
~~
It seems that everyone is misunderstanding the tag. Tags are used to organize and categorize data. The [Release] tag means that a post has data that is related to a release/production of work and is not related another subject/category (e.g., admin, announcement, correction, rant, etc).
Morever, the _context_ of the post says it all -- this should be obvious to anyone who reads the post.
If you made an assumption by glancing at only the title and failed to read the rest of the post, then that's your choice. We really have no control over that.
[PENDING] MGX (Mysterious Girlfriend X) -- Ch.59
STATUS REPORT
  • 2011-08-01 MON, 9:06 AM PST
No new data, just renaming tags and inserting meta-labels.
  • 2011-07-31 SUN, 5:53 PM PST.
-Awaiting raw acquisition. If you want to help us out, feel free to provide us with links to raws (as a reply/comment to the appropriate post). Once we get a set of raws that looks good, we will commence work on it.
Thanks!
